She helped King Charles VII become king and supported him through his reign. She helped France get rid of the English. She played a major role in the capturing of Orleans and Reims. She was tried as a witch and sentenced to death by burning at the stake. Her death helped drastically in motivating the French to win the war. 20 years after her death she was retried and found innocent.
