[tex] a_{0} [/tex]=3

r=common ratio: 12/6=2; 6/3=2

r=2, [tex] a_{n} [/tex]=[tex] 2^{n-1} [/tex]*3

plug in 12 for n:

[tex] a_{12} [/tex]=[tex] 2^{12-1} [/tex]*3

[tex] a_{12} [/tex]=[tex] 2^{11} [/tex]*3

[tex] a_{12} [/tex]=2048*3

[tex] a_{12} [/tex]=6144

The twelfth term in the sequence is 6144
