the length of an arc in a circle is radius x the angle (Ф).

Mind you angle Ф should be in radian.

1st let's convert 36° into radian

36/180 = x/π===> x=(π x 36)/180 ==> x = 2π/5 = 1.257 radian

so the arc length = 0.628 x 2 =5.585
