Distance = Square Root ( (X difference)^2 + (Y difference)^2 )
Distance = Square Root [( 43 -29)^2 + (-15 --3)^2]
Distance = Square Root (14^2 + -12^2)
Distance = Square Root (340)
Distance = 18.4390889146

d^2 = (x2 - x1)^2 + (y2 - y1)^2

(x,y)
(43,-15) & (29,-3)

x1 = 43 , y1 = -15
x2 = 29 , y2 = -3

d^2 = (29-43)^2 + (-3--15)^2
d^2 = (-14)^2 + (12)^2
d^2 = 196 + 144
d^2 = 340
d = sqrt(340)
d = 2*sqrt(85)
d = 18.44
