The two items common in Europe that the conquistadors introduced to the people of Mesoamerica and South America were horses and guns.
Of course that the Europeans had to familiarize the Americas with their weaponry, but they also brought them horses which could be used for many purposes from transportation of people and goods, to being resources of food etc.
