If Mike uses a 3 to 1 ratio of beef to pork how much pork will he use with a total of 3 pounds?

0.75 POUNDS OF PORK ..  !!!!
 
total of 100 pounds of meet..if 75 pounds of beef is used with 25 pounds of pork it creates the ratio of 3:1
 if displayed as a fraction
 pork =  1/4
 beef =  3/4
 pork weight=  100* 1/4 =25pounds
 beef weight=  100* 3/4 =76pounds
and if only 3 pounds are used ....
   total weight of pork used is......   = 3*1/4 =0.75 pounds
