It is I, the great MickeyMouse_Superfan87. It's easy. Step 1, rearrange the terms so they look better. So instead of (5x+3) - (3+x) we go (5x+3) - (x+3). Next, we distribute, so we go 5x + 3 - x - 3. From there, you subtract 3 and 3, so we get 5x - x. Last, combine the like terms to get 4x.
