An igneous rock that has silica and the ferromagnesian matter has basaltic composition. It contains silicate dark materials caused by iron and magnesium. The elements such as olivine, pyroxene, amphibole, and biotite are also present on this igneous rock. On the other hand, light colored have a different composition.
