Polynomial Factorization Help!
Can 2x^2-3x-5 = 0 be factorized? I solved it with the Quadratic Formula but I can't find two numbers that multiply to -5 but add to -3

Since there is a 2 at the start, we actually multiply -5 by 2, meaning that it needs to multiply to (-5*2)=-10 and add up to -3. Since -5 and 2 fit the bill, we get (x+5)(x-2)=0 (as -5+5 and 2-2=0)
