A jacket costs $35 and has an 8 percent tax rate. Which expression will find the cost of the tax on the jacket?

ok heres what u would do ...

First you grab the price (35) then you have your tax rate (8) ok , to find a cost of tax you most likely divide , for example

you divide $35 / 8% which equals 2.8

since , I had divided you now found the rate of tax on the jacket , ur answer is 2.8
