In the book "of mice and men" why does curley's wife get angry at lennie

Basically this is because she is so terribly lonely. She roams the ranch looking for somebody, anybody to talk to. Lennie tries not to talk to her but she prevails, telling him that the other men are too busy with their horseshoe tournament to care whether he talks to her or not.
