It's divided into four lobes

In a superior view, it's possible to see two of them: the right lobe and the left lobe. They are divided by the falciform ligament.
In a a inferior view, it's possible to see all of them: left, right, caudate and quadrate lobes. The caudate and the quadrate lobes are located between the right and left lobes, in front of each other.
