the answer is  the 1908 Springfield Riot NAACP stands for National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, an organization that aimed to ensure the equality of colored people in term of economic, social, educational, and political rights.
The springfield riot of 1908, was happened due to race based hatred, so the NAACP was established in order to make sure such occurrence would never happen again.
