To find the mark up, first turn the percentage into a number.

That would be .7.

Multiply .7 by 1.5. 

That equals 1.05.

Add that too 1.50.

That is equal to 2.55. 

That is your answer.

1.5 * 1.7 = 2.55

or u can do it this way...
1.50 + 0.70(1.50) = 1.50 + 1.05 = 2.55
