Temperament refers to "inborn, genetically based personality differences".

Temperament in simple words is a mixture of someone’s psychological, physical and emotional qualities which are predisposed in them by birth. In old psychological terms it was referred to as the mixture of four cardinal humors which was believed to define someone’s mental and physical structure.
