Bread and yogurt are made by cellular respiration. Yeast breaks down carbohydrates in bread to create energy and excretes carbon dioxide, and various other compounds that turn a ball of flour into bread. This is also how alcohol is made but that's not really a food. Special bacteria get their energy source from dairy to produce yogurt and sour cream.
