If Julie has 7/12 of a gallon of juice, and Sam has 8/9 of what Julie has, what fraction of a gallon of juice does Sam have?

First, multiply 7/12 and 8/9 and you get 56/108 which, when it is reduced, is 14/27. So, Sam has 14/27 gallons of juice. Hope this helps! :)
