Power = volts. X. Amps

The dryer uses about 720 watts.

There is a formula that relates current, voltage and power and it's the following:
Power    =  voltage x current
(in watts)   (volts)       ( amps)

The exercise already gave us the voltage, which is 240, and the current, which is 3 amps.

Power= 240 x 3
Power= 720 watts
