Jerry has 3y comics. Shaun has 8 comics. They share the comics equally. How many comics does each get?

So the expression for this is 3y + 8.
Since they share the comics equally, we should divide.
There will still be a variable involved in the final answer.
3 divided by 2 is 1.5.
8 divided by 2 is 4.
They each get 1.5y + 4 comics.
