What is the solution to the system of equations?

y = 2x – 3.5

x – 2y = –14

1. x-2(2x-3.5)=-14
    x-4x+7=-14
    -3x=-21
    x=7
2. y=2(7)-3.5
    y=14-3.5
    y=10.5
