Most slaves had to work their whole life, while indentured servant work 4-7. If a slave had a baby, the baby was a slave. If an indentured servant had a baby it was born free. Slaves had no choice, while indentured servant chose to sign the contract. Slaves had NO freedom and indentured servants had LITTLE freedom.
