A molecule is composed of two or more kinds of atoms. That is, the atom is the base material and the molecules are groups of atoms.

The difference between atoms and molecules is that atoms has a nucleus that is surrounded by electrons and Molecules are atoms bonded together by single, double or triple the bond.
