Loyalty. Loyalty is shown clear throughout the epic poem with multiple instances such as Beowulf returning to the Danes to pay off a debt to the King Hrothgar for saving his father's life. Also Wiglaf is loyal to Beowulf until the very end, even going so far as to carry Beowulf's treasures out and then persuades the people to bury him with it.
