1/2 way because to get to a full hour with 1/3 you have to multiply by three so you multiply 1/6 by 3 and get 3/6 which is simplified to 1/2. Hope I helped!

For this, we can just multiply 1/6 by 3 since you have to multiply 1/3 by 3 to get to one hour ( basically just adding 1/6 every 1/3 of an hour until the full hour).
1/6•3=3/6=1/2
So, half of the pool will be filled in one hour.
