I think the answer is -1.
First you add the total amount of spaces in between the number five and negative 4. That would be nine. A 1:2 ratio means that it needs to be split into three parts. 9/3=3. When you split it into thirds, the numbers would be -1, 2, 5. The one in the 1:2 ratio means that you put it in the first portion, which is -1.
