Well, loyalists were pretty p***** about the American Revolution. Loyalists were American colonists who were loyal to King George and Great Britain. They wanted to stay apart of Great Britain, and absolutely DID NOT want the colonies to form their own nation. Patriots were the opposite. They absolutely despised Great Britain and supported the American Revolution. Both were people of the same blood with very different views.
