The right answer is "both critical and punitive". This is a style of parenthood characterized by the presence of rigid and inflexible rules that govern the child's life. These rules are aimed at demanding that the child behaves in a certain way. These parents do not show much affection and generally, give reproaches and punishments. Children under this style of parenthood feel that they can not fulfill the demands of their parents and feel inadequate and inferior.
