Median will be the best answer if you have data that is far apart, and you need to find an average. For example 2, 24, 51, 34 is data that are far apart from each other.
Mode is the best answer if the data is closer together, and you want to find the middle of the data. For example, 55, 56, 57, 58 are numbers that are close to each other.
