I would say suspenseful cause engaging has a positive connotation, elaborate does too, and multilevel as well.

Answer:

The word that has a neutral connotation would be multilevel.

Explanation:

Connotation is the associated or secondary meaning of a word or expression in addition to its explicit or primary meaning. Multilevel in any definition would not relay any good or bad feeling to it.
