3x + y =4            6x + 2y=8
-3x        -3x        -6x         -6x
y=-3x+4             2y= -6x+8
                 *divide everything by 2
            y= -3x+4
you have to get it into y=mx+b form

*drop the y from both problems and use from x and back for both problems

-3x+4= -3x+4
+3x       +3x

4=x+4
-4     -4

1/1 = 1/1
x=1
