Betty makes pies. to make 6 pies, she uses 7 1/2 cups of flour. How many cups of flour are needed to make one pie

Divide 7 1/2 cups of flour by 6, to find the unit rate. You're finding out how much flour is needed for 1 pie. So you divide to find the answer, and you should get, 1/4. So, Betty needs 1/4 cups of flour to make one pie.
